Before the trip:
- On the hospital website, international patients’ menu, get full information about the limits of costs and the list of services.
- The hospital's IPD expert will review your information within less than a week and provide you with the necessary guidance regarding the method of travel, date and time of visiting the hospital, in addition to other necessary matters.
- In the case you receive the final approval from the IPD expert, proceed to obtain a passport and travel arrangements and visit Sassan Specialist Hospital on the scheduled date.
Travel guide:
- Inform the IPD expert of the date and time of your flight.
- Upon your arrival in Tehran, inform the IPD expert of your location.
- IPD makes the necessary coordination to transport you to the hospital.

Hospital admission:
- Go to the IPD unit as soon as you enter the hospital.
- While the process of welcoming is on, the IPD expert will provide you with basic training on how to receive, care and discharge.
- In order to be transparent in financial matters and guarantee your rights, a contract will be concluded with you upon arrival.
- Necessary coordination will be made by the IPD expert to facilitate your admission.
- You will be visited and evaluated by an IPD doctor after admission.
- Accompanied by an IPD expert, you will be admitted to the international patient ward located on the 7th floor of the hospital
During hospitalization:
- During hospitalization, if there is any ambiguity or if you need special equipment and services, contact the IPD expert.
- In the case of having any comments, criticisms or suggestions about the services received, inform the IPD expert or complete the complaint form and hand it over to the IPD expert
Discharge:
- The completion of your discharge process will be carried out by an IPD expert.
- If you wish, the bill for the services received will be provided to you in English at the time of discharge.
- If you need medical file documents, inform your nurse or IPD expert.
- With the coordination of the IPD expert, you will be escorted safely to your place of residence.
- The IPD expert will contact you a few days after discharge in order to ensure the recovery process and provide you with the necessary guidance.
